Lake Garda is reknowned for its fantastic wind conditions, created by the surrounding landscape which channels the wind. Torbole lies at the foot of Mount Baldo and near the mouth of the River Sarca. Different types of wind blow on Lake Garda . The Ora wind develops at midday or early afternoon and lasts until early evening.
